1. General stain

(1) If the carpet is stained with dust and other common stains, it can be vacuumed along the wool direction with a vacuum cleaner. If local stains are very serious, it can be wiped with carpet dry cleaner or ordinary dry cleaner, then wiped with a wet cloth and dried in a cool place.

(2) If there is no carpet dry cleaning agent at home, you can also use edible salt or baking soda to replace it. Sprinkle salt or baking soda evenly on the carpet stains, and gently rotate the carpet surface along the direction of wool. After a period of time, use a vacuum cleaner to clean the dirt on the carpet surface. The longer the salt (or baking soda) contacts the carpet, the better the decontamination effect.

 2. Coffee stain, oil stain, etc

(1) Edible oil stains can be cleaned with alcohol. New soy sauce stains should be brushed with cold water and then washed with detergent. Soy sauce stains can be brushed with warm water, detergent and ammonia, and then rinsed with water.

(2) Oil stains on shoes can be wiped off with gasoline, turpentine or alcohol, and then washed with soap. Ice cream stains can be wiped with gasoline.

(3) Urine stains can be washed with warm water or 10% ammonia solution. Old urine stains should be washed with detergent first and then with ammonia. Pure wool carpet should be pickled with lemon.

(4) The fruit juice stain shall be cleaned with 5% ammonia solution first, and then the detergent shall be used again. However, ammonia water can damage the fiber of pure wool carpet, so it should be used as little as possible. Generally, citric acid, soap and alcohol can be used for cleaning.

(5) New wine stains can be washed with water. The old stains can only be removed with an aqueous solution of ammonia and borax. If the carpet is made of wool or silk, it can be cleaned with oxalic acid.

(6) The vomit stain can be wiped with gasoline, then wiped with 5% ammonia water, and finally washed with warm water. Or wet the vomit with 10% ammonia water, then wipe it with soap solution with alcohol, and finally clean it with detergent.

(7) Coffee stains and tea stains can be washed away with ammonia water. Silk and wool carpets can be washed after soaking in oxalic acid detergent for 10-20 minutes, or cleaned with 10% glycerol solution, or absorbed with dry cloth or paper towel, mixed with the same amount of Baijiu and alcohol, sprinkled on the carpet stains, and then wiped with a dry cloth.
